How many people does the cabin sleep?
It sleeps 8 adults, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a king bed upstairs in the loft suite with its own bathroom. There is a queen bed downstairs in its own room and then another room with a queen over queen bunk bed.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, the cabin is pet-friendly, if your pet is friendly and clean up after it and take care of our cabin. There will be a $500 pet fee that is non-refundable. This fee covers cleaning and additional wear and tear. The pet fee does not cover damage caused by your pet.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00PM and check-out is by 10:00AM.
What is the minimum stay and the starting rate?
The minimum stay is 2 nights, and rates start at $250 a night and go upwards for during high season and on weekends.
Is there a hot tub?
Yes. It is on the screened porch, and it's fantastic after a day out making memories and sore muscles.
Can I charge an electric vehicle?
Yes. The cabin has a Level 2 EV charger with a J1772 connector. Make sure to tell us if you need to use this, and we will unlock it remotely.
Is there internet?
Yes. The cabin has Wi-Fi through Starlink internet.
Where do I buy groceries?
The closest full grocery stores are in Stanton. Koops General Store (Marathon) is the closest gas station and convenience store.
Where are the closest climbing crags?
Stone and Sky Cabin sits above the Maverick wall at Cave Fork Recreational Preserve (CFRP). In fact, five routes are viewable from the screened in patio - fewer than 250 feet from the cabin. A 5 minute walk will get you to routes at Nilbog, also in CFRP. The top parking lot at Pendergrass-Murray Recreational Preserve (PMRP) is only 12 minutes from the house. Muir valley is about a 15 minute drive.
Is this cabin on a cliffside?
Yes! And the view and proximity to world-class climbing literally outside your back door is amazing. BUT, it also means there are dangerous cliff lines that are unmarked. Keep pets, children and unstable adults away from the edges. You do not want to slip and fall.
